Both the interviewers, Nathan and Barnaby, had somehow access to Worthy’s every deep dark secret. And all they wanted from him was a signature on one of their contracts. Behind their sharp attires and sugar-coated promises, were Nathan and Barnaby trustworthy?

Kenneth James Allen has a unique style of storytelling. With a gruesome beginning, he sets the tone of the thriller from the start. Since the main character, James Worthy, has a military background, violence and action were expected. However, philosophical and psychological bits turned out to be surprising and gripping. The beginning might be slow, but as the story progresses, so does the pace and fascination quotient.
